On April 1st 2005, I am in Whitehorse fixing my gearbox on my way back from Tuktoyaktuk; The back cover of the gearbox is broken and BMW Canada & USA do not have the part!

Within 24 hours, on Saturday April 2nd, i had 6 back cover for my gearbox available…2 in Switzerland, 1 in Hollande, 1 in Germany and 2 in USA

My friend Georgio in Switzerland has one and it's on his way to me....
and all together i have found 4 of them, 1 in Germany, 1 in Holland, 1 in switzerland and one in USA
what a great world... it makes the all difference of traveling with internet.
in the past, it would have been only by phone call and be so much more difficult to communicate with all of you.
i should be able to move on from Whitehorse by the end of this coming week.
