| They did not have a seat belt and many pilots died either ejected from their cars or burned alive in it !!! The pilots did not like the seat belt because usually when they crashed, the car exploded !!! On this photo, Hans Herrmann made it OK at the F1 Grand Prix of Germany in 1959. |
